The Lodge at Devil's Thumb Ranch - NOW OPEN!

The beautiful Lodge designed in the architectural style known as "Parkitecture" in honor of nearby Rocky Mountain National Park is complete. The Lodge offers cozy single rooms and multi-room suites, a cafe, pub/bistro, a six-sided, three-story fireplace constructed from stones gathered from a rockslide near the Ranch, and even a miniature bowling alley. Like our cabins, it is stocked with rustic furniture, soft down pillows, warm bathrobes and other amenities. Reserve your room now!

And our charming former lodge? The historic building was moved down the road apiece and repurposed as affordable employee housing. The former ski shop was moved across the parking lot to be a place for skiers to change and warm up during the day.

Cabins in the Woods

Imagine the privacy of a cabin in the woods for your vacation getaway in Colorado. Each one designed to be rustic, yet elegant. And comfortable, yet reflective of Colorado's great outdoors. You can spend your Colorado vacation in romantic loft bedroom cabins, two bedroom cabins that are perfect for friends traveling together, or in our 2,200 sq foot four bedroom cabins that can comfortably sleep eight.

Each has been lovingly designed to make sure you experience a fantastic mountain retreat. Featuring hand-selected antiques from around the world, wood burning fireplaces, luxurious mattresses and environmentally friendly heated floors, all have kitchen units for those days you'd rather "eat in."  wake up to the beauty of the season you visit - each is unique.

To keep our property peaceful, and to engage you in the beautiful scenery around you, we have TV free guest rooms and cabins.  Our guests enjoy numerous board games, two outdoor hot tubs near the cabins, and a year-round geothermally heated swimming pool and hot tub at the base area as well as our game room (with shuffleboard, mini-bowling and more), fitness center, and 40 seat theater in the lodge.  TV/VCR and TV/DVD units are available for check-out as well as a library of movies to borrow.
