Brian’s 50+ year fly fishing career has moved from the rivers and lakes of the Eastern Sierra to the limestone streams of Southwest Wisconsin’s Driftless Area to the fantastic waters of Colorado for the last 27 years. He loves the excitement from a first wild Brown Trout for a beginner, to the challenge of working with experienced anglers on new water or new techniques. His clients can count on four things on his guided trips or lessons – having fun, learning something new, enjoying the outdoors, and catching fish…not necessarily in that order. Brian spent eight years as the Fishing Manager at Orvis Park Meadows in Denver and taught nearly 1,000 students a year how to fly fish, running the largest Orvis Fly Fishing classes in the country through the store. When he is not guiding, he is fishing on the Upper Colorado River or following the thin blue line to new waters in Rocky Mountain Naitional Park and the Indian Peaks Wilderness.
